Lycos Sells to Korean Internet Portal
Korean Internet portal Daum Communication Corp has announced it will be purchasing U.S. based search portal Lycos later this month for an estimated USD 95 million.
Although the fine print for the deal is yet to be finalized, the planned purchase has already been made public.
Lycos' current parent company Terra bought the search engine for USD 12.5 billion in 2000, prior to the dot com bust.
